The people who care for your child
Pride & Joy is owned and managed by a professional Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist, and regular therapeutic input is given as required. Our fully qualified and trained staff provide a balanced, professional and holistic approach to our childcare programme.
How each class is planned
We specialise in the young child from 3 months to 5 years and provide a developmental educational programme for each class. With the very young child in mind, our classes are based on the individual developmental stage of each child rather than their age. Monitoring milestones, giving regular feedback and detecting developmental delays early are key parts of this service.
Pride & Joy always strives to provide the highest quality care and will always act in the best interest of every child in our care.
As the old African proverb says, it takes a whole village to raise a child.
What the children eat
We consulted registered dieticians and speech and language therapists when developing our menu. Our meals provide optimal, balanced nutrition in the correct portions, and include different textures to strengthen the muscles of the mouth and tongue and support speech development.
A place that feels like family
Our crèche is structured so that the small child feels safe, loved and part of a large family of friends. Our main goal is a loving, stimulating and safe environment where the young child can grow into a secure and well-balanced individual with a strong foundation, because the first years of a child's life lay the foundation for their future.
